Senior Sean Center plays lacrosse at a high IQ level. He works hard as a leader of his team and asset to the defense.

Center has played lacrosse for seven years, including his four years at Dulaney High School (DHS).

“I would describe Dulaney lacrosse as hardworking, competitive and a family,” said Center.

Center is mostly on the defensive side of the field but also plays Long Stick Middie (LSM), where he uses a defensive pole for midfield.

Even though spring sports don’t begin until March 1st, Center is thrilled for the start of the season.

“I’m looking forward to competing with other teams in the county and having fun with my teammates,” said Center.

Having lots of experience, Center played for Baltimore Breakers Lacrosse Club and the Diamond National lacrosse club. Center will continue his academic and athletic career at Canisius University to play division 1 lacrosse.

During his last season, Center is looking forward to making new memories, but never forgetting his old ones.

“My favorite lacrosse memory would probably be beating Towson my sophomore year in double overtime,” said Center.

Center has been consistently training for his last season at Dulaney. His favorite drill for practicing these skills is a 4V3.

“Being on defense you’re at a disadvantage and when you make the offense drop the ball, miss a shot, or make a bad pass it creates energy on the defensive side,” said Center.

Center is excited for game days where you’ll find him listening to music getting ready to play.
