Senior Ari Wu prepares to make a shot in a mixed doubles match against Hereford in the Oct. 29 tournament at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology. Wu played with partner freshman Nicolette Samek and took home a gold medal after defeating Hereford in both matches, 15-1 and 15-3.
Seniors Michelle Lin and Amanda Song also won a gold medal after playing Perry Hall, winning both matches 15-13 and 15-12.
Boys’ doubles team freshman Wilson Gao and sophomore Andrew Wang won the final matches against Pikesville 15-6 and 15-5, totaling the gold medal count to three.
