Scene at Dulaney: Paramedical Biology

Saving a life isn’t a job that comes easy. In the B3 Paramedical Biology class, students are learning skills to rescue friends, family, and strangers in applicable situations. Paramedical biology teacher Laura Braly shares more insight on what the students were doing, “We were putting the patients in recovery position and we learned that that’s what we would do if you had a friend who was unconscious or drunk and might vomit or for someone who was having a seizure. The other thing that we were doing was positioning for basic life support with a team and then the team together would put a person on their back so that they could begin CPR or you could then put them in recovery position if they were having a seizure or something similar,” Braly said.
