Super Bowl LVIII is coming up on February 11 6:00 p.m. in Las Vegas NV. Many fans have different opinions on who the champions will be.

After the Divisional round of playoffs, the Kansas City Chiefs won the American Football Conference (AFC) championship and the San Francisco 49ers won the National Football Conference (NFC) championship games. When asked about their predictions for the winner of the upcoming SuperBowl, students and teachers shared varying opinions.

Dulaney football coach Jeff Thomas states his opinion on the Chiefs versus 49ers matchup.

“It’s tough but right now leaning towards the 49ers…I feel like they have more weapons than Kansas City does, and Kansas City shouldn’t be in the Super Bowl,” says Thomas.

Science teacher Michael Lashley agrees with Thomas.

“I’m gonna go 49ers, I think they’re the more rounded team with a better defense and Christian McCaffrey is the best running back to ever walk the planet…I think they’ll blow them out of the water actually,” says Lashley.

Senior Charlie Lodge says, “Well, unfortunately I wish I could say the 49ers but I’m leaning more towards Kansas City…Mahomes and Kelce, they are quite a duo, I mean those two are really unstoppable.”
