BCPS introduces BusWhere app to families across the county

BCPS introduces BusWhere app to families across the county
Nolan Kahalas

On Tuesday Sept. 26, the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) Office of Transportation announced that they will begin using the BusWhere application, which allows parents and students to track their bus. Emails have been sent to parents prompting them to create an account.

After parents create an account, students can download the app and log-in on their own devices. The app — available on both IOS and Android — shows a student’s registered bus’ location in real time as it moves along a map, as well as expected arrival times and possible delays. The BusWhere app will also send out notifications when a bus begins its route or is nearing a selected stop.

Now, students can spend less time outside waiting for the bus. This will become especially helpful as fall turns to winter and the temperature begins to drop.
