The Dulaney Robotics Team (REX 1727) competed at the VEX Robotics State Championship on March 4. The tournament was held at Dundalk High School but hosted by Dulaney and run by Dulaney teacher Patrick Dougherty.

Dulaney took home half the 14 trophies available. Team 1727A won the Design Award; Team 1727 B won the Excellence Award, Tournament Finalist, and Robot Skills Champion; and Team 1727N won the Amaze Award and placed as Tournament Finalists. These three teams which consist of 22 students are qualified for the VEX World Championship in Dallas, TX in April!

Dougherty also received the Volunteer of the Year Award for his work planning the Maryland tournaments this season. Well done to the entire robotics team, and best of luck at the World Championship!
