According to the New York Times and CNN, both Germany and the US have agreed to send battle tanks to Ukraine to aid in the war against Russia. German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, is sending Leopard 2 tanks after hearing that the Biden administration has agreed to send M1 Abrams tanks. With Germany getting involved, more European countries are opting to send weapons to Ukraine in preparation for another Russian advance. Ukraine has been asking for more advanced weaponry and this could give them the upper hand that they need to turn the tides of this war.
