12 season athletes

Megan Puente, Staff Writer

Dulaney High School is well known for its athletic programs, which give  students the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills in high school sports for up to three seasons each year. Unfortunately, some seasons were canceled or shortened due to COVID-19, which negates the possibility for the class of 2023 to have participated in 12 full seasons. Even so, we want to honor those students who competed in a sport during every season available.

Tyler Dailey

“Being a Dulaney athlete opened so many doors for me, allowing me to meet new people and continue to push myself. Not only giving me a sense of pride for what I achieve but also what we do as a team and it’s been amazing being a part of that for the last 12 seasons.”

Tristin Forby

“Being a part of Dulaney athletics was truly a fun experience, win and losses aside. Everyone pushed me to get better while still having our fun moments. Being a 12 season athlete helped me become a better player as I did football and track. It also allows you to meet new people and not just be stuck in a group like a movie.”

“I have enjoyed cheering for all twelve of my seasons at Dulaney. With practices being almost everyday, I have grown very close with my teammates throughout the years and they have become my second family. I have really enjoyed competitions and cheering games with my team. I wouldn’t trade the time I’ve spent cheering at Dulaney for anything.”

Abigail Copanas

“Cheer is unique in the fact that there’s an opportunity to do it every season which creates a family dynamic in the sport but also fosters an unrealistic perspective as you compare each season to the next.”

Brady has been an Allie athlete for 12 seasons and he will be greatly missed!
