KANSAS CITY, MO — Kansas City police are investigating a homicide after a Monday morning shooting in the 4900 block of Michigan Avenue left an adult man dead. Officers were called just after 8 a.m. to a report of gunfire and found the victim inside a home with apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to an area hospital, but he did not survive his injuries. Detectives said the early findings point to an argument between two men that escalated into gunfire.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department said officers went to the address shortly after 8 a.m. Monday after receiving a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult male inside the residence with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
