BRILLION, WI — A two-vehicle crash at a Calumet County intersection left one man dead and another injured Thursday morning, according to the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said crews were called to County Highway K and County Highway PP in the town of Brillion around 7:30 a.m. The crash involved a westbound car and a southbound pickup truck.
Authorities said the driver of the car was a 32-year-old Manitowoc man who was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver, a 33-year-old Green Bay man, was taken by ambulance with minor injuries.
Deputies say westbound car hit southbound pickup at sign-controlled intersection
A preliminary investigation indicates the car traveling west on County Highway K struck the pickup headed south on County Highway PP. Deputies said westbound traffic on County Highway K is controlled by a stop sign at County Highway PP.
