LAS VEGAS, NV — A man shot and killed his parents inside a Las Vegas home Wednesday morning before turning the gun on himself, according to police. The man’s mother and father were both in their 60s and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the shooting unfolded after a 911 call from inside the home
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to the home on East Rochelle Avenue near Maryland Parkway after the shooting was reported Wednesday morning. Officers found three people with gunshot wounds when they arrived.
Police said the man himself called 911 and told dispatchers that he had shot his parents. Lt. Robert Price said dispatchers then heard one additional gunshot before the line went silent.
Price said the preliminary investigation points to the son as the shooter. Investigators have not said what happened inside the home before the gunfire started.
