Senior Sean Herrin, helper and athlete for Allied Soccer, has been awarded the Pressbox Unsung Hero Award. He was nominated for the award by Allied Soccer coach Anita Shaw.

“I see Sean giving 110% of himself at every game and practice so that our athletes with disabilities can have the best experience possible,” Shaw said. “He befriends our athletes and goes beyond the soccer field reaching out to them in the schoolhouse and in the community.”

Herrin was selected amongst other nominated athletes throughout Baltimore County to be honored with the award, which he received Wednesday Oct. 19.
